We are now recruiting Casual Medics and First Aid Officers to deliver high standard First Aid and Pre-hospital care to the sick and injured at Sporting Fixtures and Community Events in 2019
Regular and well-paid shifts are available on weekends and mid-week; Medics work alone or in teams to diagnose, treat, and manage clinical presentations.
The role will suit students who have completed at least one year of tertiary study in any Health Care discipline (Medicine, Paramedicine, Physiotherapy, Nursing, etc) experienced Health Care professionals seeking casual employment.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a brief interview on 22nd or 23rd January 2019; successful applicants must be available to attend an induction and briefing  event at 6.30pm on 7th February 2019.
To be considered applicants MUST address the following…………………….
• Appreciate and operate within Medics Australia’s high standards of reliability, integrity, confidentiality, and honesty.
• Hold a current minimum clinical qualification ie First Aid, Resuscitation, CPR.
• Hold, or be prepared to obtain, a Sports Trainers Certificate (minimum Level 1 SMA)
• Undertake Medics Australia’s on-site mentoring, training, and skills development program (no charge)
• Have, and quote, a NSW Working With Children Check Number.
• Speak fluent English and be able to read/write records in English.
• Have, or be prepared to obtain, a superior Medical Kit (cost can be deducted from earnings over a period of up to 12 months)
• Maintain first class personal presentation appropriate for a Health Care Professional.
• Have a valid NSW Drivers License and a reliable vehicle
• Undergo a Police Check.
• Be reliably and regularly available on weekends.
Previous experience (paid or voluntary) in the delivery of first response first aid, or patient care, or similar, will be highly regarded.
